JJ defeated M. Bachinger in semi-final in Eckental 6(10):7, 6:4 6:3.

In the final JJ wasn't so lucky and he lost to M. Marterer 6(8):7, 6:3, 3:6.

The last tournament in JJ's calendar this year is Peugeot Slovak Open 2017 in Bratislava.

In the Sparkasse Challenger (Ortisei, Italy) Jerzy lost in the first round to A. Seppi 2: 6, 2: 6.

After few failures in the south of Europe, JJ played four matches during ATF 250 Intrum Stockholm Open:
vs. A. Arnabldi 6 (1):7, 7:5, 6:1
vs. J. Zopp 6:1, 6(3):7, 6:4
vs P-H. Herbert 6:2, 3:6, 6:3
vs G. Dimitrov 5:7, 6 (5):7.

Then, in the Erste Bank Open 500 (Vienna, Austria) Jerzyk was defeated by G. Garcia-Lopez 6 (7):7, 4:6 in the first rund of qualifications.

JJ has now reached the semi-finals of the challenger in Eckental 
[vs F. Auger-Aliassime 7:6(3), 6:1,vs Sijsling 7:6(3), 6:3 and vs R. Bemelmans 6:4, 6:4.
In the semi-final match, Jurek will play against M. Bachinger.

After a successful performance at Wimbledon, Jerzy participated in further tournaments in Europe.

Sparkassen Open 2017 (Braunschweig, Germany):
In the first round JJ defeated U. Ignatik 6:4, 6:4. Next opponent was G. Elias 6:4, 7:6(4). Jerzy was defeated by O. Otte 6:4, 5:7, 4:6.

After visiting Germany, it was time for a local performance during Poznań Open. JJ played two matches: against J. Munar 7:6 (1), 6:2 and against G. Olivier 7:5, 2:6, 4:6.

Another tournament - Generali Open (Kitzbuhel, Austria) - was not very successful for Jurek. He lost there in the first match with M. Linzer 1: 6, 4: 6.

At the Torneo Citta di Como (Italy) in the first round JJ met with K. Majchrzak and defeated him 6:3, 6:4. In the next round he was beaten by M. Donati 6(5):7, 6(1):7.

In the middle of September Jerzy returned to his native courts during Pekao Szczecin Open. He played three matches there:
vs. G. Duran 6:4, 6:1,
vs. K. De Schepper 6:1, 7:6(2),
vs. F. Mayer 2:6, 6(3):7.

The last tournament in September was Open D'Orleans (France), where JJ was defeated in the first round by M. Fucsovics 6(4):7, 6(5):7.

The next in the calendar is the Sparkasse Challenger (Ortisei, Italy).

I am sorry to inform that due to circumstances beyond my control we won't meet at Jerzyk Cup this year.

JJ won ATP Challenger in Genova! Having had a very tough first match with L. Sonego, JJ defeated H. Zeballos, G. Mager, C. Berloq. The last match he played against N. Almagro and won 7:6(5), 6:4.

Straight from Genova JJ came to Poland to perform at Pekao Szczecin Open. He wasn't so lucky there. In the first round JJ won with N. Basilashvili 7:5, 7:6(5), but in the second one he lost to S. Napolitano 6:3, 6(2):7, 4:6.
