He has represented Poland in the senior Davis Cup since 2008. In his first match against Belarus he defeated Max Mirnyi, which came as a great surprise. In 2009, he won a point in the match against Great Britain defeating Dan Evans. In 2010, he won the deciding point in the match against Latvia, allowing Poland to remain in the Europe/Africa Zone group.

Australian Open:

Single draw - Jerzy lost his first match - against M. Cilic - 6:4,6:4, 2:6, 2:6, 3:6.

Doubles - Jerzy and Marcin Matkowski finished their performance after the second match. First one, JJ&MM defeated F. Fognini/ F. Verdasco 7:5, 6:4. Second match, they lost to P.H. Herbert/ N. Mahut 3:6, 2:6.

Quimper, France- challenger:

In France Jerzy played two matches: he defeated Y. Reuter 6:2, 6:3, but lost to A. Mannarino 4:6, 6:3, 4:6.

Sofia, Bulgaria - ATP 250:

For JJ the tournament started when playing agains D. Sela 6:4, 6:4. In the next round Jerzy had an excellent match against G. Dimitrovem, but lost in 3 long sets (6:4, 3:6, 5:7). 


13 January 2017 New season!

The 2017 season has begun!

The first of January Jerzy spent on travelling to New Zeland. He participated in Auckland ATP 250. Then he moved to Australia. In Melbourn JJ took part in exhibition matches - Kooyong Classic - won 2 out of 2. 
Now he awaits his first match at Australian Open - versus Martin Cilic (no. 7).

28 October 2016 Jerzyk Cup - statement

Dear all,

I am sorry to inform that due to circumstances beyond my control we won't meet at Jerzyk Cup this year.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to our next meeting on court in the future!

17 September 2016 Victory in Genova

JJ won ATP Challenger in Genova! Having had a very tough first match with L. Sonego, JJ defeated H. Zeballos, G. Mager, C. Berloq. The last match he played against N. Almagro and won 7:6(5), 6:4.

Straight from Genova JJ came to Poland to perform at Pekao Szczecin Open. He wasn't so lucky there. In the first round JJ won with N. Basilashvili 7:5, 7:6(5), but in the second one he lost to S. Napolitano 6:3, 6(2):7, 4:6.
