During Roland Garros Jerzy performanced only once - against Taro Daniel. He lost 4:6, 4:6, 4:6.

His stay in Prostejov (Unicredit Czech Open Challenger) was also unlucky. JJ was defeated by T. Robredo 6:3, 4:6, 6(4):7.

Much more successful was JJ's first match in the current grass-court season. In Stuttgart Jerzy defeated A. Kuznetsov 6:4, 3:6, 6:3; then G. Dimitrov - rank no. 12. -  7:6(4), 6:3. In the quarter-final JJ was defeated by B. Paire 1:6, 6(4):7
