On the second day of Australian Open 2016 Jerzy played his first match there. His opponent was J. Isner who won 6:3, 7:6(7), 6:3.

As for the doubles Jerzy took part in it with Mariusz Fyrstenberg. Their 1st match the defeated F. Delbonis i G. Duran 6:4, 7:5. Then unfortunately they lost to J. Murray i B. Soares 5:7, 3:6.
