Jerzy took part in ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam. He reached quarter-final which means he scored a better result than last year.

In the 1st round he met Julien Benneteau (ATP 39) and won 3:6, 6:4, 6:4. In the next match he defeated Tommy Haas (ATP 12) and didn't lose even a set - 6:4, 6:4. Quarter-final turned out to be the last match and Jerzy was beat by Tomas Berdych (ATP 7) 7:6 (11:9), 2:6, 4:6.
