After a break for the injury treatment, Jerzy took part in Rogers Cup in Montreal. In the singles he reached 3rd round having defeated Julien Benneteau (3:6, 6:3, 7:5) and Frank Dancevic (7:6(5), 3:6, 6:4). Rafael Nadal was the player who was in Jerzy's way to the quarter-final (6(6):7; 4:6).

On Monday Jerzy will be ranked as 14th player in the world, which is the best ranking in his career.

In doubles, together with D. Inglot, Jerzy reached 2nd round having defeated A. Begemann/R. Bopanna 7:6(4), 6:4. They lost to R. Lindstedt/D. Nestor 3:6, 4:6.
